  Chaps are leg gaiters and are worn with riding shoes.
  They have sturdy elastic bands at the bottom that run under the sole of the shoe. Chaps are usually equipped with a zipper.
  The riding chaps prevent the rider's calf from rubbing or getting caught on the stirrup leather while maintaining contact with the horse.
  It is recommended to choose exactly the right size so that the chaps do not wrinkle or slide down the leg.
